A beautiful grouping of English Creamware and Staffordshire figures consisting of:
a pair of English tortoise-glazed creamware plates in salt-glaze mold c1790; a beautifully formed English creamware sauceboat in the form of a dolphin, c1790; English Staffordshire figure of a lion wearing a crown, signed Walton on the back, c 1815 (See Turner, pg. 111 "Collectors Guide to Staffordshire Figures" ; very rare oval shaped English fruit molded creamware plate in Whieldon colors, c1770; small beautifully formed English Staffordshire figure of a lion, signed Walton, c1820. Impressive collection of English creamware consisting of: Greatbatch tea pot with fruit molded branches in applied relief, crabstock handle and spout, c1780 (click for closeup); Tea canister in square form with convex taper to rounded square opening, probably Bovey Tracey, c1770; Staffordshire fruit-molded plate with underglaze polychrome decoration, c1790; Staffordshire figure of Wild Cat, c1790; Staffordshire figure of lion, c1800--both figures decorated in Whieldon colors; Greatbatch Tea canister with fruit molded branches and prunus blossoms--cover is newly made, c1780 (click for closeup); Fruit-molded tea pot with molded handle and spout, c1760, probably Greatbatch (click for closeup).

12. ENGLISH SPODE, LEAF PATTERN
Circa 1820. Twenty-seven piece set consisting of six dinner plates; soups; desserts; platter; two covered vegetable dishes; ladle and two small serving trays.
